Here are 10 habits that you can do in 10 minutes to change your life

  1. Take 10 deep belly breaths: Calms nervous system, reduces stress hormones. Brings clarity to the mind and body back to the present moment.
  2. Stay hydrated: Clears brain fog, improves energy instantly. Cures ghost hunger!
  3. Stand-up: Even 3 hours of exercise won’t fix the damage caused by sitting continuously. If you work a desk job, stand up and take a break every hour.
  4. Sunlight: Most people are deficient in Vitamin-D. Soak up 10 mins of sunlight at least 2 times a week. Sunlight is also a natural antidepressant.
  5. Turn off notifications: They make you attention deficit and unable to be productive. Turn off all notifications for the time period you are working. Or when you are watching a movie, just watch the movie!
  6. Meditate: Just start with 10mins a day. It increases grey-matter in your brain which is linked to so many positive benefits (focus, emotional control etc.)
  7. Uncomfortable: Do something new every day. It could be going to work using a different route or talking to a new person. It will make you an interesting person.
  8. Exercise: I don’t need to sell exercise right? It makes you feel good and also good for your health. It’s awesome!
  9. Self-care: In this hustle 24/7 world self-care can be considered as weak but it’s not. If you don’t take care of yourself who will? Do things you like, maybe listen to music your life, read fiction etc
  10. Journal: Helps with keeping you accountable for goals you set forth. Also a place to express gratitude. Finally a place to jot down “why” helping to anchor you to your purpose.
